Technology

Technology

Nebula incorporates the Wavefront Angle Recovery Processor (WARP) – A novel module for extracting the direction of the light comprising an image.

Imaging the refraction angle means:

  • Better contrast at low intensity (less photobleaching)

  • Label free segmentation, i.e. without fluorophores

  • 3D thickness mapping of thick specimens

W.A.R.P. is a patented technology developed from world-leading optics research at the Technical University of Denmark. It is:

  • More reliable than interferometry-based methods

  • Less expensive than confocal imaging

  • Simple to use; no set-up needed – just  start imaging
